I help adults of all ages work through their problems, including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, job loss, bereavement, and coping with illness. I am a psychiatrist that also practices psychotherapy and treatment may consist of talk therapy, medications, or both. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to determine if I am the right person to help you and to answer your questions.

-
Individual psychotherapy
Our inner worlds can often be confusing and painful. Through psychotherapy, we seek to understand ourselves better so that our lives can be richer in love, creativity, and joy. I am trained in multiple therapeutic approaches, enabling me to tailor treatment to your specific goals.
-
Medication management
Medications can be an essential part of treatment for some patients suffering from depression, anxiety, or other mental health challenges. I will work with you to develop a targeted treatment plan that balances symptom relief with avoiding unwanted side effects.
-
Stress and grief
A life transition (graduation, marriage, moving, a promotion or setback) or losing someone close to you can throw anyone off balance. Working through your challenges with a psychiatrist that is also trained in psychotherapy offers you support to process your important feelings and reorient your life.
